Dominican Blood

We are made up of more than just His-panic, take pride in the diversity of your skin, we are not just Spanish, are history vanish, no longer know, by our own, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, we have strong African blood in us, but the Spanish lust, for gold mixed us, wit Taino natives, whos names were created, to mean "Good" or "Noble", We lived in peace, with out the fleet from the east, The Niña The Pinta and The Santa Mari, had a beast, it was called greed, Id hate Columbus, for reaping but he must, be in us, so then I hate myself?...M.C. For a long time I have wanted to know what makes up the skin I am in.Im not talking in a Biology point of view but in a Historical and Anthropological point of view. I know I am Dominican but most don’t know what makes up a Dominican, and any one from the forgotten America people. By "forgotten America" I am talking about Latin America and The Caribbean. If you are Latino you are most likely made up of Native American blood (Arawakan, they came from the Amazon if you’re Dominican/Haitian you are Taino) West African, and Spanish (Europe) blood. This is just me tiring to fined my roots and how deep they are in this earth like Tupac said "the darker the skin the deeper the roots".... Check this Link out for the History of The Dominican Republic. P.S. much love to all my Haitian Brothers and Sisters.
